Ten years ago, "FORD LIVES" was on the cover of Automobile magazine. The vehicle on the cover was the new Taurus, a product known for change, segment disruption, versatility, and performance (SHO). This product should be a Taurus.

I’m a current Tesla S owner. Honestly, I don’t care what name you call it. My next car will be electric. Tesla has won me over. And I would consider this new entry from Ford. Looks comparable to my Tesla and may even be better interior quality fit-n-finish. That said, I stop at charging infrastructure. Tesla has got this hands-down. I charge at home most of the time. But when I do travel, I don’t need the anxiety or inconvenience of a third-party charging ecosystem. IF Ford can figure out how to provide a convenient and fast (on the order of 200KW) charging network, I would seriously consider a purchase. Until then, keep up the good work!

I don't dislike the vid. It's great propaganda for what you are doing but I hope that you listen and drop the Mustang badge. Mustang will NEVER be an SUV. Please listen FORD. This seem like a great SUV but change the name or you will pay with a huge backlash.

Maybe Ford's next car can be a subcompact named Econovan. Makes as much sense as an SUV Mustang.
I love the idea of ford making electric vehicles. But there is not many tech innovations. Instead there is a lot of copycat "innovations" from the real ones that Tesla did 8 years ago. Will be great if the company come up with real innovations keeping the mustang essence! Please don't be a Mustang that want to be a Tesla. That can destroy the mustang reputation.

There is allot of hate and im not big on evs at all but this is the time we live in and you know im ok with this im a mustang freak and honestly at first i was like wth did ford do then by the end of the reveal i was ok with it its just another mustang the mustang brand we all know and love just now has another option mustang is so loved and so popular its now a its own brand and that too me is awsome will i ever buy one maybe someday why not
Look Ford, if you want a greta crossovers that Americans want to buy, just bring either the Kuga or Puma SUVs from Europe, it's not that hard.
